'As life is, death is. The awareness of this fact allows you to live life fully and intensely.'
-Satguru
Those who left.
A person who's born, will die someday.
It breaks our heart to think about our loved ones leaving us one day, but isn't that the epitome of the beauty of nature?
Beauty, you might mock it.
You're born, you'll die. Facts, they say.
I exist now, I'll perish someday.
And that's something you need to understand. Agree it it, it's a fact, love.
What truly matters...is the memories that are left behind.
Memories, and faint whispers of their words lingering in your head.
Live with it. Continue to live with knowing you'll meet the ones you lost, someday. Not tomorrow, not a day after, but someday. When you'll die as well.
And if an afterlife does exist, you'll find them, in a different form, as a different being. But you will. And you'll remember. Somehow. Someday, some way.
It's almost not believable for once, thinking of your loved ones leaving you. I agree it to it, I'm sure you'll do too. To think of that one loved one of ours not being there in our lives, not being in front of us-
Oh it's so heartbreaking, isn't it?
I understand it. To some point...I feel it.
But...you need to understand it as well.
We are mere souls, residing temporarily in the vessels provided to us in the form of bodies. Just like a food item has an expiration date, this 'pact', this temporary residence has one as well, a date where we need to leave the abode of our vessels and move on-
To where, no one knows. To a nowhere, for all I know.
But it is, and will always be that one bitter truth that us, as lovers, as humans, will have to agree to-
A rule, we'll have to live by.
Love as long as you're alive, they're alive, and when they leave...live, love still, do remember them still.
Look at the night sky tonight, think of the ones who left you.
Look for the brightest star, and there...you found them.
Looking right back at you, somewhere hoping that you'll find solace in yours and their connected past.
They wish to comfort you, and you need to let yourself feel it too.
It's pretty childish, but there's a child inside all of us, isn't there?
Would you be happy, in their place, if it were you leaving and seeing the people you love, despising the rest of their lives and not living the way they could?
No, right?
Live.
For the ones who left.
Dead or alive, the ones who couldn't continue to stay with you.
Find solace in the memories left behind, stop thinking of the bad. Let the good consume you, until you're left with a blooming sense of what life is truly all about and how you lose and how you gain.
It's your story, my love.
We have our own stories, us as the main character, and there are the side characters-
With some, we grow to learn what hatred is, but with some-
We learn what love is, we continue to grow fond of them. But...what if these 'some' leave?
The character doesn't give up...the character shouldn't.
It's the character's story...yours. Create it with your own hands, don't let the side characters stop you! A few chapters later, and the story is supposed to go on.
Because a time will come, one day, your character will end in someone's story as well, and I'd tell them the same.
To live.
Was I rude? But isn't that how life is as well? So mean, so rude-sometimes so irritating that you want to end it?
What if I say that's one of the typical 'downs' from the 'ups and downs' to your story? That there is an end waiting somewhere, but there's still loads to come...loads to happen...loads of moments to live by.
'Life goes on. Like an echo in the forest, like an arrow in the blue sky;
On my pillow, on my table;
Life goes on like this again.'
-BE, BTS
There will be days, where that familiar crawling ache will dawn upon you, and there will be nights, where the ghosts of them in your past will linger around you, but...
You must not give up.
The memories will haunt you, the gnawing will continue to hurt,
Don't let them get to you.
The ghosts of the past, will be there. They'll try to get to you. They'll try to bring you with them, but know they aren't real. The true loves one are up above us, around us, hoping, looking, sending love and not wishing for you to give up.
'The ones who love us, never really leave us.'
- Sirius Black, Harry Potter.
Provide relief to yourself, in remembering...for forgetting has always remained rather the impossible.
